My two older sisters have been steady, guiding lights throughout the years. They are both strong, successful women who have been excellent examples of how to interact with the world in a kind and respectful manner while also being clear about their values and morals and remaining true to themselves.

Experience
As a Managing Director at FCG, Carson Colmore has over a decade of experience in the healthcare sector specializing in stakeholder engagement, business process improvement, system design, and communication and training for state agencies, including Medicaid and Health and Human Services.
Carson’s contributions to FCG include leading an extensive stakeholder engagement effort for the design of Connecticut’s maternity bundled payment program, managing the interagency project to design and implement the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) program in Rhode Island, and developing a Managed Care Organization Operations manual with updated business processes for Rhode Island Medicaid. Her work has also been focused on analyzing and improving the business processes that support Long Term Services and Supports (LTSS), including processes for nursing home level of care changes; the transition of children with special healthcare needs to adult Medicaid programs; and evaluation of Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) assessments. In addition, Carson played a crucial role in implementing Rhode Island’s first Health Benefits Exchange, HSRI, managing functional system design, technical issue resolution from the user perspective, and user experience enhancements. She has continued to support HSRI since its launch, developing comprehensive training curricula and ensuring effective documentation of policies, processes, and customer service expectations.
Carson holds an MBA in Organizational Leadership and a BA in English and Education. This blend of business acumen and communication expertise continues to inform her approach to healthcare system transformation, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement, particularly in complex multi-agency initiatives requiring careful coordination and clear communication.
