Experience
Kristin brings extensive experience in public policy analysis, project management, state and federal grants management, and regulatory compliance to her work with FCG. Since joining FCG in 2022, she has led multiple interagency projects for the State of Rhode Island focused on behavioral health system transformation, including implementation of the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) model and the rollout of Mobile Response and Stabilization Services (MRSS) for children and youth as a statewide, standalone Medicaid service. Kristin also served as a lead researcher and writer for the State of Connecticut Equity Study, a statewide assessment of patterns of inequality and opportunities for improvement across 23 executive branch agencies. In addition, she manages the evaluation of a pay-for-success permanent supportive housing pilot program, examining outcomes for housing stability, health care utilization, and justice involvement.
Before joining FCG, Kristin developed and directed grants for K-12 school districts and nonprofit organizations, with a focus on new innovative programs to support child and youth behavioral health, social and emotional learning, and trauma-informed practices in education. Kristin was also a senior project manager for RETEC/RPM Systems Group, helping the environmental, health, and safety leaders of Fortune 500 companies design business processes and information systems and communicating the business value of sustainability initiatives. Earlier in her career, Kristin served as a legislative assistant in the U.S. Senate and conducted research for the Harvard Center for Risk Analysis on the use of risk assessment in state regulatory reform efforts.
Kristin has an MPP from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and a BA in Public Policy from the College of William and Mary.
