Experience

Radhika Bhog is a strategic leader who excels in bridging the divide between technical operations and programmatic and policy goals. She comes to FCG following three years as a consultant to Maine’s Marketplace, CoverME.gov, where she served as Product Manager, Senior Advisor, and provided leadership as Acting Director between the tenures of two appointees. Radhika’s expertise in platform operations was key to CoverME.gov’s successful launch and she was instrumental in establishing core functionality during the first few years of the Marketplace’s existence. She successfully collaborated with a range of critical stakeholders, including insurance carrier operations teams and the state’s Medicaid program, to align on key business requirements and processes for discrepancy resolution. In addition, she developed and executed CoverME.gov’s multi-year technology roadmap, successfully managing within budget and time constraints to ensure that development was strategically aligned to improve consumer experience. As Acting Director, Radhika ushered in organizational change management by creating a new organization structure, increasing staff fourfold, and increasing revenue by increasing federal match. Her strategic planning and visioning efforts were crucial in shaping the long-term direction of Maine’s Marketplace.

Prior to her work with the state of Maine, Radhika served as Deputy Assistant Director of Small Business at the DC Health Benefit Exchange Authority, where she managed staff, developed casework processes, led technical testing of new platform functionality, and operationalized new policy requirements. Earlier in her career, she worked as a care coordinator supporting patients in the management of chronic conditions, and managed biorepository operations for a medical research laboratory. She worked at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital at an infant mortality clinic focusing on advocacy efforts to reduce infant deaths. Radhika’s work experiences demonstrate a commitment to improving healthcare access and addressing social inequities within health systems. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Master of Public Health in Health Service Management from the University of Cincinnati.
