For FCG, Kristin recently led the qualitative and quantitative research effort for the State of Connecticut Equity Study and drafted the final report in conjunction with the Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities. Prior to FCG, Kristin wrote and directed grants for K-12 schools and nonprofit organizations, with a particular focus on developing new innovative programs to support mental health and wellness, social and emotional learning, and trauma-informed practices in education. Kristin was also a senior project manager for RETEC/RPM Systems Group, supporting energy, manufacturing, and pharmaceutical companies in the design of environmental, health, and safety information systems and communicating the business value of sustainability initiatives. Prior to that work, Kristin conducted policy research on the use of risk assessment in state regulatory reform initiatives for the Harvard Center for Risk Analysis. She started her career as a legislative assistant in the U.S. Senate. Kristin has an MPP from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and a BA in Public Policy from the College of William and Mary.
