I am on the Board of Library Trustees in my town and am passionate about equal access and the role of libraries as a welcoming place for communities to grow, learn and connect.
Experience
Monette Verrier is an accomplished Human Resources leader with over 15 years of experience in HR leadership positions. She currently serves as the Director of People at Faulkner Consulting Group, where she directs HR strategy and is a trusted advisor for company leadership. In this role, Monette is responsible for developing effective policies and programs related to employee relations, affirmative action, DEIB, harassment, performance management, employee concerns, education, training, and career development. She drives all talent acquisition and new hire onboarding processes, executes the full recruiting life cycle from job posting to hiring, maintains strong relationships with universities and other recruitment resources, and facilitates a positive onboarding experience for new hires.
Prior to joining FCG, Monette was the People and Culture Manager at Forward Financing, a FinTech start-up, where she was the initial Human Resource hire responsible for establishing the HR and recruiting framework. She managed the entire recruitment process, cultivated relationships with staffing firms and universities, created and facilitated new hire onboarding, developed company policies and procedures, designed the benefit package and compensation model, guided the company through a Reduction in Workforce, and oversaw office space activities. Monette also has experience as a Talent Acquisition and Human Resources Consultant, assisting business leaders in team building, managing recruitment efforts, drafting HR policies, and creating performance management processes. Monette holds a BA in Mathematics from the College of the Holy Cross.
