I enjoy traveling, getting outside and taking walks in nature, attending my weekly mat Pilates class, and spending time with family and friends.

To take a gluten-free cooking and baking class in Italy.

Rachel Oliva supports multichannel branding and communications strategy for HealthSource RI. With expertise spanning public health communications, content development, design, bilingual messaging and digital media, Rachel brings a versatile, community-centered approach to brand storytelling across print and digital channels. In her roles, she helps make health coverage information more approachable and accessible for Rhode Islanders, while also representing the HealthSource RI brand at community events and supporting ongoing social media, website, and marketing calendar management.
Prior to joining FCG, Rachel spent several years at the University of Rhode Island with the SNAP-Ed program, as a Communications Specialist and Community Nutrition Educator. In this role, she collaborated on statewide health communications campaigns; managing social media strategy; developing culturally responsive bilingual materials for diverse Rhode Island communities; partnering across radio, transit and digital media and delivering educational community workshops. Rachel holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Rhode Island.
